Does anyone have more details on the upcoming Cantor flagship model? What kind of tuning can we expect? Any price details yet? Thanks :L3000:- AntonD

Hi, the packaging is English on the front slip cover. The card in the box states “July 23” so I think very recent pair from factory. Just listening to Led Zep I 96kHz 24Bit version. Wow, I know this album very well and it gets plenty of time on my hifi which is very resolving. On the P8 and...- AntonD

Thanks for the info. Regards driving the P8, I agree with your experience. I’m using volume level 14-20 so far with my M6U. Plenty loud enough. Lots of nice details and body coming through. I think M6U max goes to 100!? I’m looking forward to spending some time with the P8. :)- AntonD

It’s very helpful. Thanks. I’ve actually swapped what was fitted for a larger set that was included. I think it’s better already. Definitely more of a seal. More testing from my side but think I’m getting there :) Going to listen to Led Zep I later :xf_cool:- AntonD

When people mention “good seal”, and “sound isolation”, how good should this be? I can hear the tv vocals whilst I’m lying down not to far from the tv. When playing music I can’t tell what they are saying but can hear the tv. Is this correct? The face plates are about flush with my ear, if I...- AntonD

Hi, many thanks for your feedback. I have to say I listened to the whole Diana Krall album I mentioned earlier and it was a very pleasant experience. Very clear and accurate rendition of this album and the musicians as a whole. I’m impressed with the timbre, vocals and note decay so far.- AntonD

New Performer 8 owner here. 4.4 mm balanced cable. They landed today. Firstly, these are the first pair of iem’s that I have ever owned or used. On opening the box, my first impression was how small the ear pieces looked. However, they look like sparkling jewels. I have to say that they are...- AntonD

Shanling M9 Plus - Flagship Android player
Would you say regarding desktops, is it predominantly because we can have bigger boxes, more extravagant solutions/implementations and to a certain extent there is no limit to what the designer/engineers can achieve?- AntonD

Shanling M9 Plus - Flagship Android player
How close are TOTL DAPs to desktop systems These days? I’m interested in people’s thoughts/experiences here. For example, if we take an M9 Plus, pair it with an appropriate headphone or IEM, how close to good/excellent desk top systems can it be? I’m predominantly interested around sound...- AntonD

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hi, yes I did this for a few stations and it works perfectly. Sound quality is really fantastic. I was hoping I could use a text file to import a more substantial list but no matter, I probably only listen to a few Radio Paradise streams together with a few classical. So it’s good enough for...- AntonD

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
can someone help with .m3u playlists and radio Flac stream on UAPP? I created the file "radio.m3u", I have a few streams listed inside, copied the file to the \UAPP\Playlists folder, restarted UAPP, goto "Playlists", selected the file and accepted "Yes" to convert to UAPP version. When I...- AntonD

New User here! Installed UAPP onto my new Shanling M6 Ultra last night and started playing around with it. I have to say imo its a great app. I love the interface, most settings ootb for me are correct (I predominantly have local library holding all my CD rips and HD downloads), love the way...- AntonD
