Definitely agree with you about the Beatles mono mixes.  Mono systems were the norm back then, and albums were mixed accordingly.  The Beatles were all present during the mono mixes because that's what mattered to them.  They would sit in the studio working on making the mono mix sound perfect...

So I just joined head-fi and I also just recieved my 8320's 6 days before I expected them.  What a pleasant surprise!  I threw on a pair of Jlab double flange tips on them and the sound is excellent.  I hardly had to equalize them, they're reasonably neutral.  Really glad I found this thread...
