Mine autosyncs. Although I use foobar with ASIO. Also try selecting the sync source to internal if it already isn't.

I usually have it set to 12 o'clock and just regulate the volume on foobar. I don't know if this is the recommended procedure or not maybe the "gurus" can tell us

No, you can only play from a source at a time. For example you can't listen to your music through foobar and hear the sound from a youtube video at the same time, afaik.

I might use linux from time to time but I mainly use Windows XP so drivers are not an issue. Let's say I'm just curious and want to try it out :P
