My AMP8 arrived today...!!! Amazing body and depth to sound, compared to the default AMP1, though I guess it's just a matter of preference. I had the AMP3 for a brief while, and felt that it is boomier than AMP8. Though I thoroughly enough AMP8 more than the 3 or 1. iBasso did it again

Is there a significant sound difference between a re-terminated 4.4mm cable vs a cable using the CA02 adapter? Or is it just for convenience?

Actually, if you attempt to buy the amp4 from the iBasso website by finding a old link on google, it says $999 at checkout. ;)

Is the refit estimated time the same as getting a new ciem? 6-8weeks?

I pm'ed ProStuido Sound & Music (Amazon seller of iBasso products) on 2nd of January about when they will start selling the DX200.    They replied with  "we expect to sell DX200 within the next 1-2 week period."    That was 4 days ago.   It's getting close!

How did your CIEMS turn out? Any fit issues, or was it perfect? I am considering to go to this place because I am in need for a refit of my current CIEMS.
