Finally the custom cables have arrived. Will let it burn in for couple of days and then test if it really makes any difference to the RCA I was using. This connects my network streamer to V550.

100% agree and I'm pretty sure it will like with other tube amps...I will keep adding and rotating headphones and I think the solid state amp in my case will suit me better long term. Everyone's preference will be different.

Hi All, slightly off topic. Do you reckon adding a dedicated DAC to the existing chain will have better results interms of SQ than upgrading an amp. I know alot of factors plays part in this but just getting a general consensus whether its a good option to consider. Thanks
