    Sennheiser HD-555 and PX100 are open-type headphones which I will not even consider using as a utility headphone for DJing and monitoring. Both headphones leak tunes and has no isolation. HD-25s are designed for professional use than for everyday listening pleasures.

    I find the Amperior more sided to casual/audiophile listening than utility. If you are a DJ, producer, or a sound engineer, you really don't need those fancy ipod controls and short-cable.     For DJ monitoring purposes the PRO700MK2s are better. They sound darker, better for high volumes, it won't fatigue your ears... bass is definitely strong. But with regards to casual listening, HDJ-2000s are better.
