Which is better for IEM desktop use? Don't really care about portability as much.

It's more than that I think the right earcup is loose because the earpad can touch the inner metal golden part of the headphone while the left side can't do that. I'm just going to return them.

Been using my brand new 109's and I have creaking/popping mostly on the right side where the ball joint connects to the earcup whenever I nod/move my head. Anyone else have had this issue? It is safe to try some wd-40 or should I just return? Don't think it's normal because it happens mostly on...
