I personally liked the T1 better after listening to the 880 properly amped in the store, but the LCD2 is a damn good headphone and a good choice if you like it.

600ohm is supposedly not the same as the 250. I liked the 600 over the 250 when I had it, but it comes down to wether you're using it for home only or semi portable. In the long run I'd be more comfortable using the 600, plays better with amplifiers and DACs.

My experience with FedEx - have your tracking number ready and just give them a call to give them special instructions for delivery. They're actually really good for service.

Tube amps - warm, fun but accurate. Widens the sound stage and kind of gives a weird tunnel effect. SS - accurate, solid sound. Depends on the interconnects used.

Solid state amps make Beyers more accurate, while tubes make them warmer and fun sounding. Pair the T1 with a solid state and a tube amp, and damn it's good.
