xDuoo TA-01
I would not recommend it despite the fact that it should still sound great, but you should enjoy it - especially if you got an extraordinary deal. The HE400se remains a good bargain choice. Desktop DAC/amp choices have continued to improve so much since the TA-01B including options with tubes...- AJCxZ0

SIVGA SV021 — Impressions & Discussion Thread
Very nice. As I type I am listening to my SV021 connected to my (original) Radsone Earstudio ES100 with LDAC audio from my Android device running SoundID with my hearing test profile. While it's too isolating to use safely for cycling in traffic, it's my new choice for cycling in a safe...- AJCxZ0

Radsone EarStudio ES100
While it doesn't help with your problem, the current version - 1.9.0, updated 1 Jan 2019 - was and is working on Android 13 running a Pixel 4XL and 7. While I'm sure that this ancient release was running fine on Android 12 on the Pixel 4XL, I am too lazy to check the relevant dates.- AJCxZ0

The Opamp thread
So I did, mostly my big planar Thieaudio Phantom with NULLKEAI Replacement Thicken Earpads For Monolith M1060 Headphones Earmuff Cover Cushion Cups. My initial impression that "the sound became more intense, revealing and dynamically expanded" remained consistent while not being especially...- AJCxZ0

The Opamp thread
The other three extenders arrived, so in order to test them and the Burson V6 Vivid opamps in my Fosi Audio P1 tube pre-amp, I started with the extenders and the included TI NE5532P opamps. With 96 kHz PCM from the PC to the Topping E30 and output from the L30 (of which there are now a version...- AJCxZ0

The Opamp thread
The first extender arrived, so I was able to assess the options for fitting the pair of Burson V6 Vivid opamps in my Fosi Audio P1 tube pre-amp. Alas, there is only space for one with the case closed. See the album for the answer to all the question of fitting in the other apparent spaces. The...- AJCxZ0

The Opamp thread
For reasons which may involve me being unable to count to two or understand how to use AliExpress, I placed a second order which should result in me receiving four DIP-8 extenders of which I only need two. These appear to be the same as the ones which Burson has on sale for slightly more money...- AJCxZ0

RØDE NTH-100 (new studio headphones)
We can compare the HE1 to paper cups on a string, so comparing a closed medium weight metal headphone with a long cable which can attach with a proprietary connector to either cup to an open lightweight plastic headphone with a normal cable which can attach with a proprietary connector to the...- AJCxZ0

Radsone EarStudio ES100
For reasons the discussion of which doesn't belong here, I do not wish to purchase products with MQA and certainly not pay extra for MQA. I hope that vendors which have products with MQA follow the lead of SMSL and release MQA-free versions of their products which support MQA.- AJCxZ0

Radsone EarStudio ES100
Yes, if by "the same thing" you mean a small portable Bluetooth DAC/amp. If you by "like" you actually mean similar - i.e. "similar to the same", which is of course just "similar to" - then yes, they are broadly similar. The differences are what tend to interest folks here. My ES100 is still...- AJCxZ0

SIVGA SV021 — Impressions & Discussion Thread
Very nice work and pictures. My head is fairly large and the SV021 fits with no headband extension. An option for the less skilled or lazier folks with smaller heads is Dekoni Audio Nuggets.- AJCxZ0

RØDE NTH-100 (new studio headphones)
I concur, having now watched almost all of the 32 videos on the playlist. Don't forget the adventure which is the discovery of the included coloured plastic parts ("NTH-100 ID Set") which can attach to the cable or the 1.2 m and 2.4 m coloured cables available from RØDE while mostly ignoring the...- AJCxZ0

RØDE NTH-100 (new studio headphones)
It may be RØDE's first headphone, but not their first YouTube community engagement. An interesting difference is that instead of just the usual gang of headphone reviewers, most of the reviews are by creators - particularly ones who have highly visible branded gear. Of course this makes perfect...- AJCxZ0

Radsone EarStudio ES100
See e.g. iFi Go Blu vs Fiio BTR5 vs Qudelix 5K vs Radsone ES100 - One of these blew my mind. As much as I love my original ES100, I would not replace it with another even at the lower price given that the 5K is effectively the previously promised update of the ES100 and so far there is no sign...- AJCxZ0
