i've tried the JH16 universal. its bass its monstrous, goes down deep, punchy and extremely detailed..   and its bass dont bleed up to the midrange. and the treble is so smooth..   you should get them..

nobody mention the JH16 yet..   its lowbass is one of the best

DJ1 is better than the M50 in terms of bass and mid tho... but loses in soundstage, treble, detail and comfort...

i brought my SR60i today to school.. immediately my friends are queueing to try...   and they loved it... i played ultrasone test CD tho.

TMA-1 treble is not as good as the M50 overall M50 is a better headphones

nope, M50 doesnt need an amp.. but the burson HA160 modded really improves the mid on this...

AH D2000 has more midbass and bigger soundstage compared to M50.. and a sweeter mids i think.. M50 trumps the rest.. :D

i always bring my own tips when trying IEM's a few types of silicone and a pair of complys (soon)   my friend always asked my about my M50 they always borrow it from me when im not using it..   they love the M50..

i think i have the best headphone at my entire school.. second is PX80 i think.. third is HD651 from superlux   dunno the rest

yep.. give it 10-15 hours, the sibilance will settle down.. and the bass kick in..

mine doesnt distort even at out of head speaker volume (really really loud)   and the highs are very smooth, compared to my SR60i,
