My neighbor went into deep depression when he heard my KRK-KNS 6400's ($110). He loved them, but he just dropped $300 on some Beats, lol.

Im hoping to stay under 300. Not really planning on driving anything specifically, this is more of a future purchase.

What would guys say is the best Schiit DAC/Amp combination for somebody on a budget?

How would you compare these to the IM02's, IM03's, and the IM04's?

Stereo has always been the superior choice for me. Mono gives it a much more authentic feeling, but as for quality, stereo is what I have always gone too. Hope that helps.

I feel like these cans would be the best for listening to genres like jazz or indie rap with really intricate beats with acoustic type instruments. Is this a correct perception or am I totally off? Also, how do these compare to the SR-80i's?

Out of the 02's, 03's, and 04's, which would say is best for the bass lover?
