It is not that bad. I can enjoy some music on them. Edm sounds good. If you want more midrange and tamed treble, then use the foam tips.

The upper mids on the OG clear are slightly gritty and not smooth . I guess it’s the 6khz peak that is causing that . Does anyone else experience this ?

Am I crazy to like the ER3XR’s tonality over the ER2XR’s one ? The dash of warmth in the ER3XR’s sound makes it sound more natural .
