Quote: Hey bud, if you're only spending $100 you mind as well get some IEM's. You will be disappointed with the quality you would be gettnig with full sized cans, I promise. Get the Velodyne Vpulse. They are VERY good for the price. They sound better than the DT 770's in my opinion (though...- AbsoluteNOOB

Quote: my laptop is a bottom barrow Gateway that over heats when I play 1080p movies : P But that's weird, since I'm guessing you have a regular laptop with an onboard sound card? The difference shouldn't be that dramatic? Could it be that I bought a pair of fake DT770s?- AbsoluteNOOB

Quote: Really? I have the 250 Ohms ones though. When I plug it into my iPhone, at max volume, they sound like my Atrio's at 40% volume and at 45% of its bass. Are the Atrio MG7 considered cheap? Because they were more than the DT770's : P I was really comparing the range of bass between...- AbsoluteNOOB

Quote: Well its all subjective. For me I like the m100's more after listening to them at the mall today. The bass sounds more powerful to me, but then again I'm pretty noob to this scene so its merely an option from a novice. What kind of amp are you using for your 770's? E11? Thanks- AbsoluteNOOB

Quote: Hi Adamlr: I tried all 3 house amps. There is a background hissing sound thats very loud. When I plug it into my laptop, iPhone, or iPod I don't here it. How are you hooking your house amp to the headphones??? I did it with an RCA (white, red, yellow cord) from the TV to my...- AbsoluteNOOB

Quote: Well if you listen to only hiphop/Rnb/dubstep then you will be disappointed with the DT770's. I would go for the m100's thoughhhhh they are 2x the price so you are paying a premium for them. But at least you won't be disaapointed like me Anoob- AbsoluteNOOB

Hi guys so I made a mistake of buying a pair of Beyer's DT 770 Pro (250 Ohms). I thought in the description it said 80 Ohms but that was not the case. I've never really had to amp headphones before, so I'm quite new to this. I used my house stereo surround sound amp to power the Dt 770's...- AbsoluteNOOB
