I have PK1's and a G4 iPod. You won't be disappointed with your combination! The PK1's are amazing with an amp and the PK2's are supposed to be great without the amp. I got mine from Headroom along with a lot of other stuff. They have always been very reliable and helpful.

The easiest way to measure is with a volt/ohm meter. If you have one just measure ohms of resistance at the plug. the value will either be very close to 50 ohms or very close to 120 ohms. I've got an older pair of 595's and they measure 120 ohms as expected.

I never really thought about it until I became a head-fier. Headphone hair really IS a problem. I decided something had to go... cut my hair.
