is it noise free for ultra sensitive IEMs? high low gain? Can it be used as Dac only?(volume is bypassed)

Anyone tried to drive Beyer T1 1st (600 ohm) with this Sony machine?

I have same issue of small / narrow/ twisty canal ears, therefore the solution is that I get custom silicon eartips for my iem.

I have both M9 and I have both M9 and Z1R, on WM1Z: Z1r bass is slower with more punch and air compare to M9 to achieve the same speed of BA bass of M9, you need to drive z1r with ta-zh1es or DMP-z1,

well, one thing to keep in mind, z1r fitting is not for everyone, unlike the comfort / ease fit of m7 or m9, so i suggest try it out before u buy. I personally love the sound, but not the fit, so i go with customized tip so i can enjoy this master piece of engineering. you can also keep m9...

from my ears, you “hear” a lot more of the sub bass of z1r. the sub bass on m9 just retract too fast, therefore u feel less of it. its just the physical difference of DD and BA sub bass. yes, z1r is the best of sony IMO, prob the best of in ear until now, not limited to just sony brand. I...

I have both z1r and m9 M9 bass is deep, but still very BA style bass, which you don't feel the punching air, and with quantity on lower side

+3 I use Wm1z, and it pair well with ier-z1r. But I have also tried ta-zh1es, the desk amp does drive z1r even better especially on the control of bass with better speed. But I am happy enough with the wm1z already
