What about Mojo + Focal Utopia + Metallica? I definitely don't have the means to acquire both (Utopia + Hugo TT) at the same time, the Utopia (with DHC cable) will certainly murder my poor wallet.

You may be on to something here. I spoke with Peter from Double Helix Cables and he also confirmed to me that his Prion4 19AWG (18.8awg exact) OCC Silver Litz is the best-sounding cable of all the ones he tried with the Utopia. So it might be that the Utopia sounds best with the largest gauge...

I haven't heard neither of them, but I agree, most reviewers praise the Elear almost as much as the Utopia. It's a great headphone that goes head-to-head with many headphones twice its price category, but the Utopia is kinda on another level entirely!   Reminds me of when Fedor Emelianenko...

How does it perform with, say, old skool (thrash) metal like Metallica? Does the electric guitar sound genuine? How about when the drummer plays fast, does it sound like you're almost there, like a "live" concert? In short, does it give you goosebumps, or do you go, meh, could be better...

Please let us know how it performs with Metal, I haven't read any reviews saying a word about this!
