Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Like the OP I have difficulty finding comfortable headphones (haven't found any yet). I went through the first post and looked for cans with a comfort score of 8 or higher and a competitive score of 8 or higher. First was the AKG K701/K702/Q701. The comment is that these are comfort-wise...- 0sync0

I've never found cans that don't become uncomfortable after a few minutes. Can you get decent surround sound with IEMs?- 0sync0

Guild Wars 2
I like MMO environments but not typical MMO combat like GW1 and WoW. GW2 combat is supposed to be different but how different is it? Is it like TERA Online?- 0sync0

USB sound card hijacks all audio
I just got a Asus Xonar U3 to get an idea of what Dolby Headphone is like. When I plug in the U3 Win 7 shows that my onboard optical out is still the output device. But with the U3 plugged in I can only get sound from the U3 despite what Win 7 shows. Is there some way to get sound out of...- 0sync0

The Nameless Guide To PC Gaming Audio (with binaural headphone surround sound)
I don't really want to install a sound card just for Dolby Headphone. So I guess I was looking for an excuse to get a USB headset. :) I'm actually leery of getting any headphones. I've never tried any that were comfortable for more than a few minutes. I also haven't been impressed...- 0sync0

The Nameless Guide To PC Gaming Audio (with binaural headphone surround sound)
I was originally planning on getting a USB surround headset. Then I did some research here and learned about using a separate surround processor and headphones. I liked the idea of having flexibility in which cans to use. Then I read this in another thread here: Quote: That...- 0sync0
