What a nice headphone
Oh wow I didn't know this existed. Looks great on the HE-500!

What is a "velpad" in this context?
I would be mine it is current product from my new, young brother which utilize electrostatic tweeter. It is called TXN dest V2, hard to drive and express lots of micro dynamic and space rendering which benefit so much from the SP1000 up to SP2k or good cable. For shure SE846, I recommend to upgrade.
Hi Which Earspeaker are you using with it?
I‘m using it with the shure se846 + upgrade Cable from Ted Allen. Sounds amazing though Im looking for an Upgrade. I‘m not quite sure which IEM would give an Upgrade in spaciousness and clarity.
A degree is not necessary--but some rudimentary electronics knowledge helps.
These amp boards are "line-level, "so not really what you want for powering speakers. If you're wanting to drive car speakers I'd look up "Class D Amplifier Kit" on eBay.
The Wiki article on line-level: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_level
The AMB site is here: https://www.amb.org/audio/ He's got lots of very well-designed projects, many of which have a huge following here on Head-Fi.
Thanks mate, it helps a ton, I myself prefer a darker sound as highs can get harsh for me at times, so i'm looking towards a pair of audeze lcd2f as my future endgame, but it kinda sucks since I already know that I can never be satisfied in life
Well, here are a few benefits of Estats - fast, treble clarity, very detailed, top end performance and ethereal sound signature (great for classical music). Shortcomings - As the detail retrieval is quite good so would reveal imperfections in the recordings which might not be welcome always, can sound unnatural, bass lite so need expensive AMPs to realize full potential and listening to them at higher volumes. Hope this helps
Damn Nice, electrostats have always intrigued me, just they're so expensive and require special amps, what are the benefits of stax and shortcomings?
Thank you, mostly STAX gear and HD800/HiFiMANs based on the mood and music genre
How hard is it to build an amp, and is it possible to scale the build to power car speakers? Do you need an electrical engineering degree to do so?
How does one get into Cable making, I'd love to design my own cable but have no clue where to begin nor do i have any tools of any sort so i'm hesitent
Nice collection mate,What do you listen to the most?
Those are some BEEFY BOIS
Yep ) the imperfection )
Lol the knife XD
Oh, and what's that 30 pin connector? It bypasses the dac?
Hi, why do you use an amp for those V6? tHANKS!
@Jason Stoddard Does this count as tower
What is the size of the pads?
Thanks for the valuable info! Cheers
No any issues, the voltage is stable, and I think my DAC plays better - break-in,

Thank you so much for getting back to me! That's great news. I'm thinking of getting one of those (or similar with double output) and fine-tuning the voltage between 12 and 16V would be great as it will give me versatility to use it with a wide range of devices!
How's the reliability BTW? Have you been using it for 2 years? Any issues?
Hi, I think it possible between -2..+2 with potentiometer on the board,
I have never tried, but the chinese maker confirms this
Hello. Can you fine-tune the output voltage with this LPS?
It does look improved and the clamp, more durable.
I will follow up but I am fairly sure that the one on the right was the earlier one. One on the left was a later choice, looking for good quality while maintaining efficient pricing.
wow my oto https://www.xeoto.com.vn/aston-martin/rapide
Previous owner butchered headphones so I repaired them with DIY parts, rubber band plate printed 3D, logo plates AKG reproductionn 3D stickers,...etc
I added sockets to the cups and plugs to the cable as didn't like the fact the existing cable can't be removed. Also replaced rod blocks and gimbals with hand made aluminium versions, originally used chrome plated but then found a site selling plain aluminium which I prefer. I really like the sound of the 325 and am looking for advice on upgrading to one of the higher end sets such as RS1. I'd appreciate any comments from those that have used both.
A little better noise isolation would help.
Are these for sale?
Can you make me one of these?
