Stunning mahogany cups
Beautiful woodwork! That just looks so clean and professional--great job!
As for mods, i would have to sit down and think what all i did to the amp, the main modifications are doubling the output capacitor size, original had three 10uf caps in parallel which i replaced with the two 60uf polypropylene caps. This will give you much better low end bass extension.
Hi, I don't have a copy of the manual any more as i sold the amplifier. From memory it was pretty useless with just a couple of pages badly translated Chinese telling you not to use it in the rain and other dumb safety warnings. Nothing of any interest or of any use.
Please don't mind the little fuzz that may be on a tube. I keep them stored in soft polyester fiber fill boxes.
Is it possible to get more information about your modifications. I have the same amp unmodified. When I bought it I did not get the manual. I have made a exhaustive search on the internet with no luck. If anyone would care to scan a copy and send to me PDF I would be more than appreciative. Thanks in advance, JS

Thanks for the feedback. I suppose this amp would make sense for a HE6
the amp has a small noise floor a expected , it's ok for headphone like the lcd-3 and less sensitve headphones. most dynamic headphones are too senstive for it. i use the amp with a ifi iesl pro for my electrostatic headphones or the lcd-3.
i made a voltage divider adapter out of curiosity and so i can use it with my dynamics headphone without any noise. for most headphones the dynalo would be the smarter and better choise to build.
Do u use it for hard to drive headphones only ? Would the amp be too noisy for more sensitive headphones?
I quite enjoyed these photos. I would like to understand the basic build structure of headphones. I have an old pair that I would like to work on. I have been an audiophile for 50 years but new to headphones. Is there a forum on mods to headphones. Thanks, JS
@RodneyMarion Have you seen my review of it? http://headphone-earphone.reviews/2017/04/21/inspire-dennis-dragon-iha-1/
Gorgeous. How does it sound?
Wow. Nice tubes here too.
You just made my day. I love the metal base GZ34 rectifiers.
What audio and tubes are we looking at here?
Is this modded? The Modwright Truthmod version rocks.
More great sounding tubes. I have a pair.
