These are not heavy on bass and have good presentation at my opinion.
Thanks for the info. It´s mean, they very accurate and show everything. Sometime bad, sometime good... some albums are recorded not so good. Btw, Shure, by my opinion, have a strong bass base. It´s almost prefered, but no by me.
Sound for my opinion is very good. Headphones don't like bed sources, bad recorded music...
I can't compare with Shure because never heard it.
Hi igytech...what about sound? Comparation with Shure - similar cost. What about comfort on rears? Thanks...
it's a great addition to the chain if you have a DAC with high impedance output... (like my minimax)
The Sp7 has Primo DH40 driver too. It us writen on it identical as the HP2.
The difference is that SP7 has 45ohm, Yellow Glue , Black Venting Filter and different front cup!
I think SP-7 has DH-57; indeed HP 1000 DH-40 is slightly better.
It is an DH-40 (40ohm - not 45ohm as the sp7) !
Joseph Grado had a Hot Stamp with his words! It happened to see persaonally an Joe driver and I could recognize the "Primo" DH-40" "Japan" but of caurse they were faded...
Does anyone know about this TRANSROTOR edition ? Is it a fake HD 800 ?
ETA on wide release?
Let's see a pic of those big Vandys.
I have found that I prefer the 6F8G RCA along with the ECC82 Genalex in the Crack. I have several very good 6F8Gs but I prefer the RCA that test 82/62 - go figure. JS
I have a Crack that I use daily without Speedball. I also have a Crack Kit with Speedball that I have not put together. My first w/o Speedball I bought already assembled. I had a Darkvoice 336 before the Bottleneck Crack. Have your assembled all the amps in the photos yourself. If so, I am quite envious of your talent. Thanks for sharing, JS
Im happy to announced that the D7200 will be joining the family soon. Can't wait to compare all these great headphones together. I do enjoy a lot swapping between HP800, D600 and MM400 these are so great and sound kinda similar. The HP600 on the other side are perfect for travelling, very good isolation, drivers are probably the same as in HP800 and mainly they are small / compact size and do sound better than Sennheiser HD25. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about theeeze
Tubes get very very hot transformers get to hot to touch .
I am going to make review for DENON HP600 which I just got in few weeks time and share my experience. But for now I tested them against Sennheiser HD25 and I am putting the HD25 to the box. The HP600 sounded a lot better when I did side by side comparison. I intent to use th HP600 for my traveling mainly... also they isolate pretty good even almost comparable with HD25 here.
after having your Trafomatic TR2+, at my home, with a beautiful sound with Taket, I would like to know what will be the price for this beautiful Driver Headphones.
Review of FLUXION AV-7 Amplifier http://wallofsound.ca/audioreviews/amplification/review-fluxion-av-7-single-ended-6c33c-amplifier/
Yeah, unfortunately they are a Massdrop exclusive. Hopefully rhey become an in stock item where you can just order normally.
The internal structure does change the frequency response for the worse with the TH-900 Series pads.
The dekoni th-x00 are only available on massdrop, correct? I have a pair of dekoni th-900 sheepskin, but I'm fearing the outcome of since the ear cavity is a completely different shape.
Thank you ,its very much appreciated
Beautiful, absolutely breathtaking craftsmanship. Well done!
Joseph Grado sold HP1000 driver $200 per unit. This is all maxfazer's (https://www.head-fi.org/members/maxfazer.41466/). Adapter is nothing special, but cable and service is by APureSound.
This stuff is getting old though...
how much did you paid for the drivers and the adapter?
doublehelixcables, redco and markertek
Sweet! Does sound good
I have the same kit (minus the audio-technica) in my office.
Love this! Where did you source your wire?
Found a workaround... had to open and edit each pic individually to add a title.
A lot more work, but hopefully worth the effort. Enjoy o7
Interesting. They all look to be closely tuned or is it just me? The Elear with more bass emphasis in sub and mid bass (thus why I feel they tilt towards the warm side along with a slight roll off between 3-6K) with the Utopia being so dang finely tuned. All 3 are impressive.
Maybe one day The Elear will have to do for me at present. Hopefully I can hear this baby next month.
Hi Carson. I don't have the M1060 anymore so I can't add to this album. Sorry.
can you take some measurements with brainwavz xl velour pads
Should be as simple as taking two strokes off his golf game.
