[Delirious Lab]

I just discovered the two-piano version of The Planets (which mostly came before the orchestral version).  I didn't know there was such a thing until I came across it while browsing the CD store.
 
If you've heard The Planets hundreds of times and are looking for a fresh new angle on the work, you owe it to yourself to try it on two pianos.  I have the Naxos recording which is a very exciting experience - I want to listen to it all day!

My favorite is Vladimir Jurowski and the London Philharmonic, for me it's very intimate and opens up when it needs to. Got good reviews from Gramophone.
