This thing was 45$ with 12$ shipping, only one i could find. ) 9 months ago it seems they were selling for 45$ new including shipping.
The seller first offered me 10$ refund, then 20$.

Don't mean to add to your troubles w/my comment. But the seller's offer(s) wouldn't please me at all. I'd want every penny back, or open a case w/Paypal, Amazon, ebay, or whatever service you used.

That seller would certainly have known he was selling you damaged goods...

Had some time to look at the 671. Inside the cups it looked ok. So I cleaned them with plastic cleaner spray and leather conditioner. Then hand washed the pads with detergent and softener. No more bad smell and they look new, with a hint of "summer fresh" aroma.

The hm5 pads do not fit, looks like the pads are 10.6cm. So i stuffed them with some black fabric so they are roomier.

I got these only for the soundstage, and not disappointed. These have the biggest one of all my headphones. Tested them a little, and even old stereo films sound good in them, I can pick out and place sounds I have not noticed before.

so far so good

Hi, new to this thread usually lurking in IEM threads(KZ, Chinese Cheap-fi) I recently listened to HyperX Cloud II and it got me interested, I saw ISK MDH8500 some pages ago and people say it's a rebrand with detachable cable and bigger earpads, can someone confirm this?
I like the brown color and the detachable cable, also the price is less than HyperX Cloud Core which can help me get a fiio k1.

Also I noticed MDH9000 are somewhat popular, are they better than PRO 80s or just different?

Might be, might be not. From what I read Takstar and ISK share the same outer shells, however the drivers inside seem to be different

Well, I pulled he trigger on MDH8500. I hope it's decent, on the aliexpress reviews an automatically translated review says it's identical to Pro 80s but a bit darker or vice versa, I think that's the effect of the bigger earpads though.
Instead of getting HyperX Cloud II for 80$ I got the MDH8500 and a fiio K1, I will post my initial impressions here.

Hmm looks like Pro 82's are on Takstar's site - http://www.takstar.com/en/product/detail-11-28-0-500

The housing reminds me of Sony MDR-1A, which was quite comfortable when I owned the 1ADAC version some time ago.

PRO 82s seem really nice, they remind me of m70x, I wonder if these will be sub100$.

Cheers, no problem, the detachable cable was the selling point for me I also got a good deal IMO at 39 euros(took the risk with no retail package, seller seemed good), the seller increased the price though.
Now waiting...
