I like the bass on the HP100.  Very neutral but with a sub-bass hump.  The only thing I'd look to see improved is maybe deeper cushions and a better cable (the proprietary connection sucks ******* and has to go!).  I'm pretty satisfied with the sound.

Yeah I don't really like neutral bass, since I only listen to rap/hiphop and occasionaly some trap music.

Yep. Would be nice to know about the drivers. Or at the very least, the picture of the back of the box so we could see if the frequency response is being claimed to be the same.

Note that the primary product description text on Amazon is word for word the same as the HP100.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to Amazon's description of the SoundMagics. It's the same as my HP200, as well. Just laziness on the part of Micca...

Sweet, looking forward to your impressions.  Umm, do you actually have an HP100 to compare side by side?
