Sony SR-64HXA LOW-ELECTRONIC-NOISE MicroSD card for HQ Audio Players

Just read a post from the Tokyo show. Says they could hear a big difference between identical ZX2s, one with a regular card, the other with the Premium micro sd.

In theory (however unexplainable), there could be improvements depending on the quality of equipment the card is used with. Reminds me of reading about how the Tera Player came about trying to reduce noise to absolute minimum. Don't have a Tera but wonder how this card (with an SD adapter of equal quality; if there is one) would fare with it?

Also, wouldn't the DAP's internal memory (if available) be as clean or cleaner than using this card?

What's the verdict?

Comparing with Sandisk UltraXC. Same capacity. Same DSD track loaded from the same iMAC. Same Lotoo 5000 player > bal > Dita Truth. Yes, there is audible difference in terms instruments separation especially on the super highs like high hats and cymbals. The s-ess of vocal reverberation has more sparkle

Is it worth the price? That is up to individual needs and wants
