Audirvana Plus, OS X 10.11.6, in USB DAC convertor mode, confirmed!

No diver required, but application should have exclusive access enabled.

Decibel works too with the following settings:

When Core Audio changes sample rate M2s follows (with current sampling rate and bit depth displayed on the screen, very nice feature!), but only up to 24bit/96kHz, so 192kHz files are downsampled to 96kHz when playing via Core Audio, but play at 192kHz via applications that support exclusive access (thus bypassing Core Audio altogether).

@Joe Bloggs - I was using the HiBy Link app with my M2s on Friday, and found that the app won't rotate to Landscape mode on a tablet.
I used 3C Toolbox Pro, to enable rotation, and HiBy Link crashes.
It's true, the HiByLink-enabled HiBy beta does not yet support landscape. Neither would the official version coming out shortly :deadhorse: Sorry about that, we'll add it as soon as possible.

I've got some friends who make custom leather cases, pouches (and even leather armor costumes) - so I'm going to get some custom cases made, with a protective screen cover flap, for my Shanling M1 & M2s, and Cayin N3. They'll also have D-Rings, so they can be attached and hang from badge lanyards, or belts.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone with that kind of leather skills. :frowning2:

I just tried with a M1 and couldn't get it to work with any of my Android phones or tablet. Works with my computer and the provided drivers.
Try installing HiByMusic on your phone

I appreciate the quick response

Humm.. I'm using the Beta with HiBy Link, it replaced HiByMusic upon install. Can I still install HiByMusic again? Or am I limited to one or the other for now?

I wish I could run both apps separately on my phone and choose which to use, until the beta is finished and rolled into one.

I guess I could Just run standard HiByMusic on one of other phones and give it a go, for now.

Thanks.

In that case... we're updating our HiByMusic officially from 2.34 to 3.0.0 in a few days, you could wait for a bit. And yes, there were some DAC connection problems with the 3.0.0 beta posted on the Play Store  (apart from enabling connection on Android 7.x systems for the first time)

@Shanling is it possible to add a battery percentage or a option to choose from battery percentage or the battery icon ? Or have both

I would love to have percentage as battery, so backing you up in this

let's see if the 30:00 bug will be fixed....

30:00 bug? Please what you mean?

Hi Shanling, I think this should be the best present for all of us!! two microsd slots on marvellous M2S.......

Why only two? What about 4?? :D

In other news, MusicDay's M2s arrived to us, we were able to fix it with cloner software, now running smoothly again :) So don't worry guys, if your M2s stops working, there is always way.

Also, our units got fancy sticker today :D
