ive been reading threads over different headphones but if im going to spend hundreds of dollars on headphones i figure i might as well try to get as much info as posible. I listen to a range of music so i guess an all around pair would be best- punk,indie,pink floyd,radiohead, phish kind of stuff but i also really like edm and i am a sucker for good bass but i hate when the bass overpowers the rest of the music. from what ive read the ultrasone pro900, denon ahd-d200 and sennheiser momentums sound the most appealing. i would like to try and keep the price under $400 since these are my first real headphone purchase so any information on these or any others i should look into would be great!
 
also i know some headphones need amps to go with them so if you wanna throw some information about that in there be my guest.
