Obscure Chinese DAPs

A good quality 256GB microSD (Samsung EVO) runs ~$130-$160. So it is highly unlikely they are able to provide the player AND 256GB for $78. You know, the old 'if it's too good to be true' adage.

I'd almost guarantee the included microsd card is fake formatted. It may show 256GB in the player info screen, and when you plug it into a PC, but try and fill the card with actual data & it will bomb out just like any fake formatted media. You'd have to verify the true size of the card with a utility like H2testw or FakeFlashTest.

So stupid....
They don't claim selling some U3 grad microSD for 4k video lighting speed transfering.
They simply sell music players whith dedicated memory storage.

A 256GB microSD is sold for around 40/45$ everywhere on the net (even whith the Samsung brand), and the player is sold for 17$ in the 2Gb version.
At 77$, the company surely make a nice extra-proffit.
But i really don't see the point of buying a 15$ DAP whith a 40/62$ storage.

If you want to know price sourcing from direct manufacturer, you can refer to this

It sounds like you have it all figured out.

Order one of those $40 256GB cards that are flooded all over ebay/Amazon and let us know how it turns out.

Anybody know if the Ruizu X28 is a nice player ? Looks alright for one that still has FM. Wondering how it stacks up to the Benjie or AGPTEK players in the price range.
