I think you're referring to the Benjie T6/Rocker. The firmware versions for those are interchangeable because the hardware is identical. There's also a Rockbox port in progress for that player too.

But for the IQQ I can't see an option to upgrade the firmware so not sure if it's possible.

Any updates? Seems you're doing extensive listening which leads me to speculate a diamond in the ruff. Gulp I hope.

Well, like all the budget DAPs I've tried there are some minor niggles that get in the way of it being great. You really need to look at the cons of each one and figure out which ones would bother you the least. This one does have a nice sound though!

Seems to be only a single screw holding the back plate on so should be easy. I might take a look myself soon. Just like the Nintaus, Mrobo and X1 this thing has a crazy good battery life.

Nice Cool sound and good extended battery is all I want and perhaps (Coil) mods to make this player even better why not. Maybe you should make a thread for this gem to be. Hah cons I kinda thought So with a budget player. Wonder if this is the only DAP IQQ has done? Can post the dimensions? I wanna see if I can find a case since none is available. Any pics from the other side of PCB? I think this thingy could take some minor HW upgrades but not sure about real improvement due to SW implementation. Does it eat rockbox or any SW ports yet?

IQQ also has a x02 and x05 on aliexpress. Seems like just a copy of the ruizu x02 and the other the benjie k9 if I recall it correctly.
Still a rare brand, can't even find a website.

Goes to the menu. If last played was from built-in memory you can select Now Playing for breakpoint resume.
