I can only speak on my unit and that never had an issue.

New Lotoo Paw Gold firmware update: 5.0.1.14

Version 5.0.x.14 changes:

1, in the playback settings to add VU level meter function: fader before / fader two options;
2, in the loop mode to add AUTO-PAUSE function: play a file after the first stop in the next file;
3, optimize the seamless play;

I am unable to load this update... the Lotoo Gold complains "Cannot Find PAWGAPP.COE." When I change the name to that, it STILL claims it cannot find it. Furthermore, the download is only 1.6MB, while my older firmware files are 3.5MB and automatically have a COE extension (this one has an RAR extension).

1) As I am trying to upgrade from version 5.0.1.8 to 5.0.1.14, is that too many jumps at once (for example, an intermediate firmware update could have changed the file it seeks for new firmware from .COE to .RAR)
2) Is .RAR some sort of compressed file that I first must unzip.

Embarrassed! I ask about the LoToo PAW Gold RAR files only three posts after someone offers a free tool to extract from RAR files. Sheesh! Thanks, audionewbie.

Okay, vegas, or Lotoo Paw Gold? I have the Questyle QP1R now. Using Shure SE846s and Shure SRH1540 now.

Vega, new iem offers more of a sound difference. But paired with that dap it might be too warm.
