I need to make a 1/4" female to 3.5mm male (2') cable as an extension for my LCD-2 custom cable I got. The custom cable is just a tad too short for my desk unfortunately.
I found a 1/4" female to RCA male adapter lying around, and thought maybe I could just cut off the RCA ends, add 2' of cable, and add a 3.5mm to the end. does anyone know if this is a good or bad idea? And if so, how do wire it?
The RCA are both black so I don't know which is left and which is right.
My only other option would be to get a 2' RCA female to 3.5mm male adapter. But that's too many adapters for my liking lol.
I appreciate any info you guys can give me,
Thanks!
