Seems like I am in spam mode. @Joe Bloggs, I have another question. I am playing a 44k file but my Mojo color code is saying its blue(176 khz?) But with UAPP i get the correct sampling information on Mojo.

What could be causing this?

Mmm, two questions
1. Is SRC turned OFF?
2. Are you reading this light color while music is playing? The color changes even when the track is on pause...

As for the Hiby beta, there is some delay between when you register for the beta and when you receive the beta download. The beta is currently on version 3720.

1/ SRF is off.
2/ Yes, it was the color while playing.

Interestingly, I had to force kill the app and restart and then the color change to red (44k) while playing.

Will i receive a notification when it's ready to download the Beta? or should I check back again?

Thanks for your report, I'll check with our engineers what's happening on the SRC front.

And I'll have to get back to you in two days on why the beta app isn't available for you, when I get back to Hong Kong. I can't access Google Play at all in China. The GFW has gone medieval overdrive on me and google it seems...

Sorry, neither me nor our company know anything about the first item, so I don't know about the second either.

Hello s4tch,

Sorry about that, we will fix the ordering on DLNA as soon as possible. On the other hand one of the selling features of Hiby is that you don't need to setup a DLNA server--it can extract, sort and play music from any shared folder. I guess we just need to defer to the DLNA server's ordering in the case of DLNA

thanks for the fix in advance, Joe. shared folders work just fine, but if you're about to play music from a certain artist, year or genre, dlna is a more convenient way. after the fix, hiby would be perfect for my usage. it certainly sounds better than my go-to player (bubbleupnp).

Sadly in my situation I think it's a case of an older smartphone and my DAC.

Root your S3 and roll back to Android 4.3. Reinstall UAPP and you should be good to go. Now as far as being old goes well only now are DAP manufacturers giving us quad core processors and 1GB of ram and as far as the CPU's go they are of the budget variety as opposed to the Cortex A9 found in the S3 plus the S3 has 2gb of RAM. So old?? For use as a source no way.

I'm still rocking my S3 with my HA-2 and it's awesome. Will be my TOTL "DAP" for sometime.
