Fiio why almost none of good games work on Fiio X7? (Skyforce, Heartstone, Magic 2015, Ascension , Eathcore: Shattered, Counter-terrorist-SWAT, Dirt Xtreme, Mad Skills Motocross 2, Trial Xtreme 4). (the only games working are simple\primitive and ports from jave: i.e. Gravity Defied). It does not matter how I install it and download it from - through USB or through the Play Market. Installation goes fine, but after pressing play - it simple after couple seconds through the mistake: in "x" programm mistake occured.
One of the reasons I bought X7 (not AK, Lotto, the Bit, iBasso) is because it has full Android and good hardware. (I do not own any other android device). I know it is a DAP, but with android V5+.

Dear RuFrost,

The X7 is a android-based smart portable music player. The chip function may be redesigned for better listening experience. So some of the softwares may not be compatible to it. Sorry if bringing inconvenience to you.

Best regards

Hi guys,
I've always used custom in-ears for listening to my X7 with AM3. Volume around 30-35 with low gain has been enough. Recently I got a Hifiman HE400i open headphone. Now I have to put the volume up to 70-80 with high gain. I suppose the difference is in the impedance, but would the Hifiman benefit from the AM5?
Thanks!

I'm just trying to help you out tho...

Judging by its benchmarks, it would be able to barely run Heartstone and the best game I have personally run on a FiiO DAP is Angry biurds on X5-3.

As for your question, I vaguely remember FiiO having a certain set of signed apps that would run on X7 with the reason for having their own pre-selected apps only run on X7 being somewhere in between that X7 wouldn't properly run certain games and subsequent warranty issues that might arise from someone running energy demanding games on it.

Every company implements those SOCs differently, so even though X7 runs RK3188 which is similar to a Snapdragon 410, FiiO might have changed certain parts of it so it consumes less energy, providing a better experience for music lovers who buy it exclusively for music.

Thus my recommendation earlier, I'm trying to be as helpful as I can; You can get a cheap smartphone with Snapdragon 650 which will play Heartstone at a solid 60fps. I apologize if I come off as rude in any way!

I lost interest and track on mobile industry and hardware many years ago...So of course buying new smartphone is the option, but it is just too much for couple day's experience)) I have researched recently Mali-400 MP4 (video chip of RK3188 and even 4-5 years ago it was rocking...but time passes and nowaday it is grandfather.
Even though, Fiio X7 is a DAP, I still found some truly amazing games which works fine, in case somebody need it: Space Fighter, Deck Heroes, Evoker, O&C Duels, TowerMadness2, Heroes O&C, Monsters, World of Goo, Beat Hazard Ultra. I have spent the whole night (appr. 9 hours playing TM 2.)) Mixed feelings... Hopefully, X7 II is going to have better screen-sensor, because pressing buttons in the internal interface, even in stock Fiio player is not precise and sometimes cause some pain. Thanks for you opinion and explanation!

Fiio I have read your response. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful product! Hope to see new flagman))

Again I know where the article is but it doesn't mention this as the final firmware for the X7. It's just the next stable release.

i do hope this is not the final update.....if it is then it is really crappy

I wrote "final" but not in the sense that's the last firmware update, surely it isn't. I meant "final" as it is the 1st non beta firmware, officialy published after FW2.x (no more betas)
Sorry if my words lead on a missunderstanding.

Just upgraded to 3.3.0. Curious to see how it improves over last "beta" firmware.

Hmmm... no statement from FiiO on improvements over 3.2.1 beta. My guess is "very few if any". I assume (my believe) is that this official 3.3 FW is more of a checkpoint for the announced set of features, a "certification" they working good (or should at least). If you don't look back at the whole beta process and jump directly from the previous official FW2.x to this official FW3.3.x, its a huge gap IMHO.

My 2 cents
Regards
