New X7 isn't fix software bugs of existing because of the same code base. As for me - this is just waste waiting. They should fix on firmware and not on marketing things.

A new X7 might be based on a different CPU which has different set of instructions thus never having the same problems as the actual X7

I have a little issue with Tidal and I'm wondering if any others have encountered the same problem...

When playing Tidal via the am3's balanced output, if I unplug the headphones, and then plug them in again, there's a pretty loud wifi/interference-type noise (much louder than the typical RFI noise when streaming). It goes away instantly when you hit play (even if you instantly pause playback again). Anybody else had this experience??

i use tidal with the am3 balanced out

i couldn't reproduce any issue like that

it may be some kind of local interference

Just got rudely 'un-zenned' when the 'repeat single track' function failed to work and played a guitar heavy piece after playing a very nice ambient piece.

Of course it now does work on this piece...

Furthermore the new lockscreen sometimes doesn't update after hours of the player being paused.

Lastly, i'm happy i took out the Bluetooth/WiFi module. Apart from distortion while charging it's way more silent, and bass has really increased. (Still hoping for objective measurements by somebody here)

The DoP functionality still isn't working under 3.2.0, at least with Mojo.

It's funny because there is a DoP/D2P switch in the settings.

Dear tomwoo,

We tested in Mojo and works well. What's the sampling rate of your DSD file? Are you using the coaxial output?

Best regards
