Mine was 5 days to NZ which was awesome.
However unfortunately my right channel is cutting in and out. Have to try make an adapter to test the 2.5mm cable to see if it's the iem or just the cable =(

I always seem to have bad luck with QC haha

Nice!

Let us know how they feel when you get to dig into them!

I was just wearing them right now and writing about them.

One thing I haven't said enough so far - they are happy and sound happy. Everything sounds happy and enthusiastic through them, if this makes sense.

Very fast delivery. I've only played with it a few minutes, and haven't tried Balanced yet... but already I like them better than my Iansean Museti IEMs, which I burned in for 100hrs and thought they were pretty good and comfortable.. these might actually be even more comfortable (and of course sound better).

What's up with the 2 sets of tips (ones with colored inserts, others all black)? Is there a "Tuning" to the colored ones?

FiiO F5 is extremely comfortable in my experience - no idea how they manage to with the large size.

The colored ones sound better to my ears, didn't found an explanation on what each does.

Also, my review for FiiO F5 is up!!

Great review George. I really enjoy these. For me the issue lies in the upper mids. I think i will try and EQ and see the difference. Usually i avoid it as far as possible. Also i think the Zero has a less warm signature from what i remember. I have to look for them in the box and give them another try. However i remember the bass being less punchy than the F5 and the mids really shine on the Zero if my memory isn't failing me.

Ordered mine 6/15, got them 6/19. Fast! Not sure what I'm going to do with that tiny amp, maybe gift it to someone. Since I am incapable of a real review, all I can say is they are comfortable and sound great. The balanced cable is nice and short and light as well. No bs volume controls on the wires. Probably will never unwrap the other cable.

A bit unsure about that extra large hard pack box, seems that I would rather have a small travel case like the F3 came with. Just have to re purpose.

Nice review George. I'm more like your wife and don't need an EQ. Still playing with different ear buds. Hard to find some that stay in while working.

I found the provided tips to be the best fit. I did try on comply tips but they were not as comfortable a fit for me. Also comply changes the sound a bit which wasn't particularly to my liking. I did try EQing it and the results were satisfactory.

My F5 on my Schiit (1960s Siemens E188CC) on an XLR extension cable out of my Naim (and my new Fiio replacement balanced cable, AAA customer service as always from Fiio), the F5s have about 100 hours on them now. So time for review, if I can work out where to post it on this new site, hopefully this weekend. Still loving them:ksc75smile:

Woah

That is quite the awesome setup you have in there!!

To write in the new format, it would be best to write the review in a .doc file before adding the final touches in the new site format - you might save a lot of work by doing this.

I was wrong. It can hold AP60 as well.

Guess you found your happy carry case then, no?

I really love this carrying case to be honest, it can be thrown in a backpack and will resist my turbulent daily usage without complaints.

The best usage for this case so far has been placing IEMs together with silica bags in it so all IEMs stay nice and dry - especially their drivers.

This is a great tip "placing IEMs together with silica bags in it so all IEMs stay nice and dry" I've been doing it for years:umbrella:
