enjoying flamingo sketches by miles davis on a rainy friday lunchtime. so cloudy and dark outside yet the trumpet and piano strokes with double bass and cymbals seem to be resonating from outside my headphones with xfeed on max. these are the moments that make it all worthwhile. ahhh.....:saxophone::saxophone::saxophone:. my favourite things by john coltrane up next. that's my work done for today. yep.

Just going on what i've read in the schitt audio forums where burn in and leaving dacs on 24/7 seems to be a big issue. mainly when i was weighing up gunjnir multibit vs hugo 2. hugo 2 won for me based on many different factors.

The article says he left off listening for a month.

I don't think the writer means brain adjustment time.

Weird.

Canali, your always looking to upgrade...

Just go for end game right now, save the time and money!

lol
trust me I'd love to have the best of whatever, now....heck who wouldn't.
in this gig (or any hobby for that matter) most people are upgrading all the time, so there is that.
additionally, and more pertinent, wanting to upgrade involves expenses, and like most i'm on a budget wanting the best bang for my buck..
so sometimes things have to wait while i save up.
i'm not into taking on debt for enjoyment.

Not sure this was picked up, but Hugo 2 came out on top of this list of top headphone amps, beating out the TT..."The problem is that the Hugo 2 sounds almost exactly the same and has most of the same features – for less than half the price." http://www.trustedreviews.com/guide/best-headphone-amps

Hmm, the only virus I sensed was that the reviewer seems to be infected by the unnatural bias toward Chord products. Sounds like more of the same leaning toward anything Chord puts glowing balls on. Very little insight into how each review item sounds.

but chord does sound better. coming from schitt multibit, yulong and intona in the mix.
