Are there any phones out there with physical media buttons (play/pause, fast forward) and Bluetooth aptx?

I don't think you'll find any newer phones like that. And so bluetooth won't be there... nor a lot of stuff folks expect today.

Yeah it's a shame, even the Marshall London doesn't have media buttons and it's supposed to be a phone designed for 'audiophiles'. The LG G5 with DAC module doesn't have media buttons either. I wonder if any of the lesser known Chinese manufacturers make an obscure phone with media buttons still?

You can use volume / power buttons for that (long/double tap)

Yeah but that extra half second makes makes a massive difference in everyday usage if, like me, you change songs often. Which is why I use a DAP! But it would be nice if there are any phones out there with this functionality.

From what i understood, i believe you need a screenshot of tidal enabled in hifi mode.
In any case, i do remember Tidal not being included as a stock option in previous vivo models. Fortunately it works like a charm in the Xplay 6 (Amazing phone btw).

I dont use tidal so I just download it to test out for you and my screenshot is like showing you that it can be chosen to enable.

I can confirm that xplay6 works with tidal and the hifi mode.

And if you need more power, you can use the trick with adapter, that mr artpiggo has posted about.
