haha...Compared to IM70 and Titan 1,CKR 9 is on a totally different level. You made the right choice!

I hear the new E-40 is like baby CKR9 (same driver design too) and is a direct upgrade for IM70 users, anyone here can add to that?

Hrm... I do want to upgrade my IM50, and are looking forward to the E40, Intrigued that you says it's more simiar to CRK10, I just have one question though, How does it perform with female vocal and acoustic music?

It sounds intimate and full with an good amount of detail. Its not as detailed as the CKR-9s but im a detail lover so...
But still, Its much better than the IM50 , everything from the fit to the sound is improved but it has less bassy compared to the IM50.

Oh, that's great news.. Bass is never been the reason why I chose the IM50 rather than SE215 and MA750. Its the intimate mids with long term listening use were. Though I also have moments i crave detail, bright ones too, though not daily (I have XBA100 coming just for those moments..). Will demo E40 for sure..

The E40 bests the XBA100 in detail and soundstage from memory whereas the bass quality is leaps and bounds better.

So far I haven't seen any fakes reported.

Where did you order them for 10$!??!! that's a steal!

I remember seeing someone on YouTube commenting the same thing, that they saw a 10$ one at a liquidation store.

When you receive them, check its shell, connector, and sound. Who knows? It might be a refurbished goods or somethjng. If you are satisfied with it for $10 whether its fake or not is irrelevant anyway.

E40... wouldn't solve the fitting problem wouldn't they? Alpha&Delta D2 maybe?

I managed to try the im50 and im70, as well as the e40 and e50
Im not very good at audio stuff, but I can tell the im70 has more clarity than the im50, and they fit surprisingly well in my ears despite the large housing, not the most comfortable but definitely decent enough.
The fit is much better than the e40, I'm not sure why but it seems like a step back, it looks cool but I couldn't get it fit coz its wider than the im70, not to mention it has more rough sharp edges, and the memory cable rotates easily as well, so the experience for the e40 is quite bad.
It's entirely different story for the e50, smaller and has elongated shape, fits much better than even the im70

During my limited time of testing I think I prefer the im70 over the im50, sounds cleaner.
