Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

So after finding the Large Isolation is my favorite tip for the Quad Driver & that I was loving the Comply Comfort with the iSine, I ordered the Large Comply Comfort 500. It's a pain to get it on the first time but was super worth it for me.

I dunno why but the Large tips just seem to work for my ears despite being 5'8" and wearing smaller fitted baseball caps. I assumed medium or small would be best since that's my typical head size but maybe I have giant ear canals, lol. Anyway, the Comply Comfort are worth a shot if you're tip rolling and still trying to find what works best for you.

What would be EQ settings with Cipher cable and Audeze App to mimic above setting?

Yeah, I'm curious too.

The 10 band EQ of the App uses a Q of 1.414 and the center frequencies are already as listed in the App. The variants I posted are warmer versions of the default tuning. You can do a rough approximation using the following settings in your App and then go from there:

125Hz => 2 dB
250Hz => 1 dB
2kHz => -1 dB
4kHz => -3dB
8kHz => -4dB (optional, remove if you feel edges sound dull)
16kHz => 3dB

Does the Comply 500 fit or only the 600? As my country only sell the comply confort 500 but not 600 and i can't order online :p

Some more EQ options
Since I see a number of Head-fiers using the EQ I posted and also saw some feedback on the EQ, I am happy to post two more variations that go easy near 4k. I would be happy to hear feed-back form you and we can even push the EQ to Cipher at a later point.

Here are two variants (V1, V2) and finally the original I had published earlier.

The filters in your screen shots are labeled as "GAIN->Q" and "SHIFT." Is the first type a peaking filter and the second a shelf (low- or high-)?

So, it there an Adapter or something so I can use the cipher cable on my Laptop?
Only half an hour ago I asked the same question on the Apple Communities forum!
I'd like to be able to use the digital audio out of the USB port and pass it onto the Cipher cable to do its magic :wink:

Thank you for the continuous feedback. When we started the journey to make iSine's we deliberately set aside preconceived notions on how in-ears should sound. The iSine's have been one of the most well received products we have had. Based on feedback, we have added a few more options to the iSine10 and 20.

1. Groovy Tips - We had select head-fi users beta test these. The response was overwhelmingly positive.This complements the existing smooth silicone eartips. It offers better retention force and comfort. For many people the seal will also be better. Will be available in s/m/l.

2. Earhooks - We are adding longer earhooks. The stem is longer and accommodates more ear sizes.

All iSine headphones shipped from May 1st will include these, in addition to the existing ear tips and ear hooks.

For people who already own iSine10 or 20s, you can order these here.

Shipping is free in the US. For customers who bought them outside the US, the dealers / distributors should have these in the next two weeks. You can get them locally.

I've been in touch with Kris Foster at Exertis and as of this morning, 30 May, he says he has no information and knows nothing about the In-Ear Groovy Kit. As postage for the kit via FedEx from the US to the UK is over 5x the cost of the kit itself could you update us on when these may be available in the UK? Thanks!

So far I have "only" tested Var 1versus the Original (quite some work to integrate it in the Neutron player. Clearly a strong improvement. I am hearing a lot of audioboos and the human voices sound much more natural now. Big thank you!

We will reach out to them and make sure they are available in the next 2 weeks.

This is not possible. The Cipher cable only works with Lightning conenctors. The Laptops use USB or USB-C and there is no easy way to use them. You can swap out the cable and use the analog cable with the laptop
