Has anyone here on Head-Fi heard the PS4 Platinum Headset? Big claims are made about Sonys 3D audio and taken at face value it seems compelling but how do these things actually sound?

I briefly had it before sending it back. Constant buzzing in right earcup, uncomfortable, hollow and tiny with surround. The stereo only was ok.
3D was a little bit of a gimmick. In uncharted 4 I was able to tell difference and height but had to really focus and listen out for it. It did not seem to come natural if you know what I mean. There are also only a handful games which actually support it. It seems it's to time/ resource consuming for developers to implement, unless Sony pays for it and really want it in the game
They are ok but the buzzing appears to be a widespread issue.
If you heard the previous Sony gold then it's pretty much the same apart from less comfort but added 3D.

Agree with all the above apart from I found them a little more comfortable than the Golds. Mine went back within a few days also.
