Hello,

I would like to ask if anybody had a problem with the AKG grid covers I removed them out of curiosity if it changes anything and my sister wanted to help me and clean my room and she threw them away. So I contacted AKG and they redirect me to a local part seller and the prices are ridiculous I think. I bought a whole headband for my HD600 for around that price. I dont want to spend 52€ for 2 small pieces of pastic.

Is there any other option for me?

Thank you for help.
English is not my mother tongue, please excuse any errors on my part.

Get a 3D scanner and scan the headphone. Then design a mounting ring based on that scan, print it using a 3D printer, then go buuy one of those pen/pencil holders for office desks (the ones that look like small trashcans made of chicken wire). Cut up the chicken wire like mesh and mount that on the mounting ring (glue, etc), then mount it back onto the headphone.
