Pros: extremely fast and detailed
Cons: no bass and too much lower treble... BRIGHT!
this reviews was SUPPOSED to be for the HD 25 SP II model. i wasn't aware there were 2 versions

- they aren't "over the ear" designs like they look in pics
They are on the ear, that is mentioned in almost every review I've seen of them. Pictures alone aren't reliable.
- they have annoying swivel cups that are dangerous for anyone with one hand
How are they dangerous? The swivel cups allow them to get a better fit by rotating with your head
- they feel light & cheap like toys
They may feel that way, but they are designed to be very durable.

first off, i had the HD 25 SP IIs and not these. i wasn't aware there were two models so this review doesn't apply to the regular HD 25s.
as to the dangerous, try putting a pair on with one hand and see how long you can go without poking an eye out or gouging your ear. they like to fight with you when you try and put them on shifting all over or popping off one's head. i was particularly worried about them spinning around and gouging one of my eyes as each cup likes to swivel as you try and adjust the other.
if you own a pair, just try to put them on with one hand and you'll see what i mean... VERY unnerving and frustrating. i like "solid mount" cans like my K44s. i can just spread the cups apart with my fingers and push them onto my head without any crazy shifting & popping caused by cups that won't stay put.

These are the best cans for DJs. No doubt about it. Awesome noise cancellation, awesome construction with replaceble parts and good audio quality
