Okay, I ordered these headphones from Walmart on Nov 15,2013. They were a total of $10 with shipping and other fees included. They came four days later in a box, enclosed in clamshell packaging which actually wasn't so bothersome to open. When opening, to be honest I was very surprised.
Comfort/Construction
Firstly, these things are light, and feel almost weightless in the hand and on the head. While at the same time, they also feel like they would break if you made a mistake. I at first had trouble a few times getting them to fit on my head and ears correctly but that doesn't take long to figure out because the cup just sits on your ear instead of holding on to it like a circumaural headphone. The small weight and the shape/material on the pads make them very comfortable for long listening sessions.For the most part, I barely feel that they are on my head. The only draw back being that after a while your ears will get a bit warm despite the "open air" enclosure the drivers of these headphones exist in.
Sound
Well, I didn't expect much and I didn't get too much. The bass(strong suit of these cans) is actually good and has a punch but its also boomy and sounds a bit uncontrolled. The mids sound flat, and just bland/unemphasized but they are listenable and I cannot complain. When curtain instruments and effects are heard there is an annoying echo that sometimes resonates from these cans plastic construction - This is rather annoying but mostly isn't heard. The highs are also a little weak, and if you eq them they sound harsh and "over-sparkly". S sounds in songs for example, become very ringy if you change the loudness anywhere past 5khz. Overall they definitely sound warmer than my other reviewed cheap headphones(Sony MDR zx-100) and they aren't as bright sounding. Also, although they are supposedly open air, there is little to no sound leakage when listening at upper volumes.
Use
The thing that urks me the most is the hilariously long cord that it is equipped with (9.8 ft). This cord is thin and its hard to manage and often gets in the way for any use but for pc.
The headphones look a little silly on the ear(in my opinion) and I would much rather prefer that they were black.
When you put them on, they seem to reduce external volumes by half or a little less than half, which is a definite plus.
Being 32 ohms they are quite easy to drive and can reach high volumes mostly without amplification, and their efficiency is quite high at 107db/mw??. or 103/db/mw
And would you believe this? For less than 11 dollars you get headphones with very low harmonic distortion, I have amplified these and have yet to hear any of the sort. The in-line volume control is so convenient its unreal, I like not having to alt-tab, or reach for the button to increase/reduce volume on my music source when I can just move a slider.
Overall
Cheap Price, Warm sound(a little too warm), They do indeed feel like plastic, They have a silly, long cord. To me they look a bit childish. You can make them shine bright with a simple "Mountain-top eq"
Its worth the 10 dollars, so stop judging and buy them.

Warm sound, the bass lifts pretty good but the mids and highs not great but for the price they are fine.
I wanted the long cord and volume control because when I used them I wanted to control the volume of movies or music I played in my computer (the computer was far away from my bed and i had to get up and turn up or down the volume, lazy right? still pretty long cord haha)
The design is like ugly silver futuristic like, but the sound is reasonable for the price. I find them reasonably confortable. Right now I use them mostly on my Ipod classic and it sounds ok.
