A pair of XLR/1/4" combo inputs let you use the USB Dual Pre to plug in a variety of sound sources, and you even get a pair of balanced 1/4" outputs to feed a PA or other audio devices. Portability is no problem, as the USB Dual Pre can be powered by USB bus power, its own internal battery, or by an external 12-volt power supply (sold separately).
