contemplating on which to keep, hd800 or lcd-2.
hey guys, thought asking you would get me closer to an unregretable definite choice, i own both hd800 and lcd2, thing is that i run both through the schiit lyr and i feel that this amp does not exert the full potential of the hd800, im satisfied with the sound of the lcd2 but i dont wanna sell...- nuclear

im trying to convince myself that perhaps its only a psychological interpretation, it doesnt sound as if there is a tear in the membrane, just sounds less real and alive and the bass has less impact like its partially coming from a tube or something- nuclear

hey, i have an lcd-2 connected to an spl phonitor, the phonitor is connected to a power source which has no ground therefor while the lcd-2 are connected and i disconnect the amp from audio source i get a loud sound of disturbances and i immediately turn to lowering the volume on the phonitor...- nuclear

is there any data on the tech specs of both the cp200 and ie8 that can help discern if theres an incompatibility between the two or that might imply that a damage might be caused ?- nuclear

the situation described is when returning to normal use, the left side which was the one operational during that one time use with a walkie talkie is now noticebly low in volume, is there anything i can do as an attempt to fix? :/- nuclear

ill abbreviate, i have connected my sennheiser ie8 to a motorola cp200 walkie talkie, only the left side was functional and 1/2second prior to every audio income i heared the diaphragm pop out, since then the volume on that side i noticeably low compared to the right one, im not keen in...- nuclear

i just ruined my ie8 and suicide is taken into account =/ i need to know from someone who has already been through this whats entailed in shipping them to sennheiser and how high the costs could be, what i basically did because i started to pay attention to the graduately decreasing sound...- nuclear

ie8 clicking noise
sorry for duplicate thread title, but after understanding that the clicking noise is coming from the driver's diaphragm poping in/out, i would want to know wether i should or shouldnt send them to sennheiser for repair- nuclear

i noticed that the exact noise happens when i tick with my finger on the outer part of the iem, if its what you described as the driver flexing due to high pressure could it have caused any damage? should i send them out for repair ? :X- nuclear

thanks for greeting me and for your quick reply, the click sound comes from inside the earphones, it sounds like a click one might think comes from an ipod or a mouse click, im pretty certain it has nothing to do with the eartips, i am really worried iv already damaged them, it happens while i...- nuclear

i got these iem's for about a month now and been using them very frequently like an hour each day and also gave them a few hours of burn during the nights, my problem is that sometimes when i insert the ie8's into my ears pushing them from their back i hear a noise similar to a mouse clicking...- nuclear
