I'm on my second pair of A 25's. The first set I ran off a 3 WPC SET and was impressed. Second set paired with (stacked) NHT Super Zero 2.1 paired with Sansui 881 has given me a "subjective" near Zen experience vs money spent. YMMV.

The Phonak were more precise vs the sony. My 07 are not the bass edition, but the MK 2. IMO they came into their own in all aspects after the recable.

I've used the Phonak tips exclusively for the past 2 years and are my favorite. If you really want to hear how well they scale, have a BTG Audio recable done to them. They have completely satisfied my search for IEM''s, including ALL of the JH Audio line, SM 3, AKG 3003, et al.

I bought in I think back in September or October with a delivery of June, it's now August.....not.....pleased.
