I also agree with this review. These are my favorite cans and love using them for all sorts of audio and find them very comfortable.

Has anyone listened to Koss Pro DJ100?

Has anyone compared the DJ100 to PRO4AAT or the MV1?

    the most comfortable headphones?

Quote:   Yeah, but nothing fancy: Cambridge Audio 540A V2 for the 250 ohm pair and a Labtec CS1000 for the 80 ohm pair I use with my laptop.

J&R Music World.   Decent prices and if I don't like an HP, I can go in person (saving shipping) to get a refund.

    Crackling sound?

Could be static electricity. I get the same thing sometimes during the heating season when the indoor air is very dry. Nothing permanent for my headphones. Might also be a loose connection somewhere.

DT 770 Pro/250. Comfortable, durable, sound great.

    beyers: Higher impedance, better sound?

Never tried the 770-600s but the main difference between my 80s and 250s were that the 80s were prone to distortion when playing back deep bass on my main rig. The 250s handle the bass just fine.

You could try some Koss Pro4AAT cans. Plenty of bass and comfort isn't too bad.

    Confused... DT770 question

Thanks for the clarification Tieman and the comparison leeperry. I'm kind of leary of the 32 ohm version as that seems to be aimed primarily at portables. I'll probably look into the 600 ohm version.

    Confused... DT770 question

I was interested in getting a pair of Manufaktur 770s but I'm not sure what ohmage to get them in. My amp is a CA 540 V2 that has a HP ohm range of 32-600 ohms but I notice, when using my Grados, that a 32 ohm HP requires max volume settings below 12 o'clock which I prefer. Should I go with the...
