Hey, are we still arguing about HE-400 pads? Because I finally switched out my stock pleathers for velours today(yesterday really) after about 6.5 months with those  . Immediate impression is that it doesn't sound as fatiguing with the new pads, though they do seem to clamp pretty tightly...

Has anyone ever had a loud clicking noise occur with the HE-400s? I was just playing a game with these on and I got three loud clicks, two on the left earcup and one on the right. I had gotten these before, albeit not as common so it's a little odd.

I see I'm as sloppy with turning on/off procedures as I've always been, just unplugged my headphones from my Asgard before turning down the volume and shutting off the amp again. I've been able to do it many times with dynamic headphones in the past on something without a muting relay, though...

Guess I gotta report in now, posting while listening to my "new" Asgard 1 I bought off another headfier for decently close to the price of a new Magni w/ shipping.

Mine was supposedly from an RMA and it didn't have it. The person I bought it from actually had two sent to him for return service and according to him his didn't have one either.   Manual was also beat up on mine, but the headphone itself was pristine from what I can tell. Very strange.

Does anyone know if there have been any instances of possibly fake or counterfeit M-Stages? Thinking of bidding on this listing here, but it doesn't seem like the seller has sold any amps before so I'm a bit leery of doing it.

Another question, I thought you were supposed to wear the HE-400 with the R/L lettering facing backwards, but the cable seems to disagree because if I do that then the Y-split is twisted, which is bad because that seems to be a culprit in causing the connectors to loosen. I have been twisting...

Man, the warranty is 2 years? I got mine back during the Amazon BF 2009 sale so I could have gotten my cable replacement without paying.   Oh well, I'm sure the cable will give out again eventually.

Just an update on the possible failure situation...I got the new cables about 2 days ago and switched out the old ones, seems to have done the trick!   Thanks for the advice guys. :)

Thanks guys, decided to chance it and ordered a new set of cables! Hopefully they work again once I change them out.

Recently my Triple fi 10s managed to stop working somewhere between the hour or so I had to twirl them back in my UE case and when I took them out again. I assumed it was a cable failure and was set to purchase a new cable, but then I realized that I'm not sure if it's the fault of the cables or...
