Audeze Mobius review / impressions
There are some, but they're nothing special. At least the ones I tried. Gaming headphones, all of them. Maybe somebody else will chime in with different knowledge.- gorman

It does, yes. It provides the best 3D effect i have tried, not having tried Realyzer. It's simulated, obviously, but the effect can be quite believable. Better than multidriver headphones I have tried.- gorman

The TWS + Neckband + BT Cable Adapter Thread
A question. Since I am in need of a new pair of CIEMs, I'm eyeing this product. Nothing super-fancy, probably, but the fact that the company is based in my city means I will be able to pursue that elusive and so important perfect fit. I am currently using Fiio UTWS3, for which I heavily modded...- gorman

Android equalizer for portable dac
Wavelet allows for personalized EQ settings, even though the process to add those is a little bit involved. I suggest you give a strong look at it. It's free, it works great, what more could you ask?- gorman

Interesting from an engineering point of view, for sure. After 15+ years of CIEMs, I'm pretty convinced that the most important aspect is how they fit. There's good fit and then there's perfect fit. If you don't get the latter... there's not much engineering can do to help.- gorman

I hope you are right. With an HTPC they're still the best surround emulation I've found. Too bad they can't handle Atmos and DTS-X.- gorman

For a product that works only when connected to a USB Port, the battery being necessary for it to work at all is... surprising to be generous.- gorman

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Triple flange from Shure would work. Too bad the diameter is wrong. Try them with a DIY adapter and they would work. Sound obviously improves immensely... :frowning2:- gorman

Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Problem for me is that the shape of the IEM itself sort of "fights" again the shape of my ears. So I can't position them in a way that makes the eartip go as deep as they need to. I did not have this problem with KZ AS-10, to remain in universal IEMs territory. Waiting today for triple flanges...- gorman

I don't understand what it is but I am having great trouble in making my newly bought Starfield to insert as deep as needed. I have ordered some triflange eartips but still... Am I the only one with this problem?- gorman

If one is interested in 7.1 emulation, yes. I suggest to invest in gyro, for reasons others have already explained. I also don't understand the fixation for having these with all DSP off. What's the point?- gorman

If it plays multichannel for Netflix and Prime Video, I am pretty sure it could do it through Kodi too. I use both. Does it work with head tracking too?- gorman

Are you using Mobius connected to Nvidia Shield and getting 7.1 playback? Through video players like Kodi, I mean, if decoding to 7.1 LPCM?- gorman
