Thank you for replying to my post. I have yet to check on the poll. The purpose of the poll is to understand if there's any logic to the wait. You don't have to give any personal information. ---- Here's the result of 27 responses as of 13 Jul'16. From the survey, we can assume that most...- eron

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
I backed a Pulse in Nov 2014. Given new ship dates over and over again, and is starting to worry. LHlabs can certainly just run away with our money. I've created a simple survey to help us understand how widespread the problem is. Please kindly input your order dates, or if you have received...- eron

ULTRASONE NEW ANNOUNCED HEADPHONE Signature Pro
I've been using my Sigpros with Alpha pads for awhile, and find them comfortable for long-hours of use. Sound is still good. They do fit loose around the earphones. What pads would you recommend?- eron

Happened to me awhile ago. Checked hours later and all fixed. I'm currently impressed by the SQ of the tracks. -
CEntrance i5
The HIFI-M8 is a stellar product. So is the CEntrance DACport which I have as well. As a small company, if you choose not to manage external communication channels or even just email your customers, my suggestion is to have a development page on your website that updates interested CEntrance...- eron

CEntrance i5
Does the tech transfer from the HiFi-M8 include the inability to play 24/96 direct from iOS which was promised, but later put on the lowest priority if not forgotten? Do the Mini-M8 and i5 have the same limitation, level of support and after-sale communication as the HiFi-M8? April...- eron

Centrance Hifi-M8 and Hifi-M8 LX (8 versions!) impressions thread
I think so too. There was a report on Apple enabling HD audio. Even if it's not the answer, it will still influence the "fix/update". So we'll just have to wait.- eron

The Centrance HiFi M8 thread
Sometimes older devices actually perform slower with new firmwares. This is due to hardware limitation. Enabling features could increase heat and reduce battery life. Slowing the device down could actually seriously compromise the "user experience".- eron

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player
Apple is going for the part streaming, part in-storage route. Of course users can always go full-on physical storage. This will make sense as high-speed mobile data/wifi increases its ubiquity, yet with reduced price...- eron

The Centrance HiFi M8 thread
http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/04/10/rumor-apple-to-offer-hi-res-24-bit-tracks-on-itunes-in-coming-months Apple rumoured to offer 24bits on iTunes in coming months. So their iOS devices might support 24bit at a later stage. Might make CEntrance's job a little easier on the 24/96 front.- eron

The Centrance HiFi M8 thread
I personally will give them time till November. The thing is the update can't be done on our side, but will have to be sent to Centrance. So it's not just about announcing that they have the 'fix', but also freeing up manpower to do the "upgrade". The M8 is a stellar product even without the...- eron

Maybe M8's owners might only get a prompt outcome if some MixerFace owners are informed about how Centrance might deliver semi-finished products and ignore concerns of current product owners.- eron

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player
Disregarding the actual "well-mastered" music that goes into Pono which is supposed to be the game changer, I hope Kickstarter backers of Pono understand that Pono has no direct legal obligation to deliver the player on time. Some KS projects run for almost 24 months and have yet to deliver. The...- eron

ULTRASONE NEW ANNOUNCED HEADPHONE Signature Pro
I don't think it's the answer as it's loose, but it helps in an at home setup. It 'works' for me because I have it lying around so it cost me nothing, but I would much prefer one that holds firmly while providing at least the same level of comfort. Edit: Stock pads removed.- eron

ULTRASONE NEW ANNOUNCED HEADPHONE Signature Pro
Just sharing that I was struggling with the comfort of my SigPro today, and decided to try swapping on the alpha pads of my Mad Dogs. It's a very loose fit, but it certainly makes the SigPro significantly more comfortable. What pads have others tried successfully with the Signature Pro?- eron
