UE TF10 for home theatre
TF10's are definitely MORE neutral than the se530's and UM2 but they are far from neutral themselves. the highs are too sharp to be considered completely "balanced"- HellaChinese

TF10, SE530 or UM2?
i have both, and if i had to choose either or i'd take the se530's. they make rock sound alive with the distortion you can almost feel. it emphasizes the sounds of electronic music perfectly, as well as hip hop yes, the tf10 are more analytical headphones. but what do you want in terms of a...- HellaChinese

shure 530's vs triple.fi 10's
In reality both the Shure Se530's and TF10's are about $300-350. Although the MSRP for the SE530's is nearly $100 higher, they realistically both sell for the same price through their retailers (both authorized and unofficial)- HellaChinese

Did excessive sweat kill my armatures?
pure water does nothing too bad to most electronics. if you just dry it out, it usually works perfeclty fine. however, if there are any electrolytes present (salts, potassium, or even other organic compounds), it can cause damage. unfortunately, sweat is full of them- HellaChinese

Best Buds for Pink Floyd
hmmm by distortion i meant guitar distortion (as in using distortion pedals), not the speaker distorting the intended sound. does bass mean a lot to you? if not, the er-6i might be for you. it's a very crisp, detail oriented headphone. however, it's lower frequencies are REALLY light, and...- HellaChinese
