We totally agree 👍 (my words was to complement your view in your post.) I don't have iTunes (or iphone) since I think ldac is the best wireless transfer (except for wifi transfer, but no hp support this as I know of). I also noticed bigger difference between aptx and Ldac than 96 vs 44.1 At home...

I find that the way it is mastered is much more important than 44.1 vs 96. Tidal masters (mqa 48 or 96) sound much better since less loudness wars type of sound. If you convert them to 44.1 they still retain this quality.

Looking forward to more impressions, I'm tempted to upgrade my h9 v1. I'm happy with the sound sig., but the v1 pressure behind my ears on my glases making it tiresome to wear for long periods. I think (hope) the new oval form factor would be better for me. Also the improved headband would be good.

How is your room and speakers location compared to placement og listing position? Since you say you barely have room? And I would definitely go with class A, generally it gives some tube magic, with nice midrange and great frequency response/control.

Yes @Pietro Cozzi Tinin , and no problem if there is a new some months afterwards. But it's a downer if you get one and a upgrade is released the week after.

Regarding Yggy, I talked to the shop I visited for a demo. I found that the demo I had was with Yggy usb3. Not Analog2 USB 5. So one step back again since the never is reported to sound much better and more towards my wishes in sound sig vs Usb versjon 3 Yggy.

Thanks guy's, Demo is unfortunately difficult. The only dac I heard is yggyA2 with mjølnir 2 om he1000v2. I liked many aspects, but missed a groove. It may be related to synergy, but it got me afraid it's to dry and missed a wholeness. I use a Gustard u16, so USB implementation is not critical.
