I think he is talking about the 80 dollar Dual drive IEMS, not the stock ibuds. The 80 dollar pair has fascinated me because it would be useful with the remote and mic and also its fairly cheap but with the crappy quality associated with apple buds, they seem taboo.

Most of us know about the grado mods page. There is a reason that people pay for pads they are designed exactly like the manufacturer wants them and they sound better with the original pads on

There is a mod called the fitz mod or something to the same. You install 2 small caps and all hum goes away. Some more experienced members can give you details but it can be a lifesaver for the DV336 i guess.
